When midnight blooms in silver light
And stars lean close to kiss the night,
The old year sighs a gentle tune—
A fading echo under the moon.
Then softly rises dawn’s first breath,
A promise born from time’s old depth;
New footsteps walk the waiting air,
Carrying hope both bright and rare.
Unwritten pages, crisp and white,
Begin to glow in morning’s light;
Dreams long sleeping start to rise,
Opening wide their hopeful eyes.
May courage hold you through the days,
May kindness light your woven ways,
And every joy, both small and true,
Find a warm new home in you.
Here’s to paths we’ve yet to tread,
To words unspoken, still unread—
A year that hums with gentle cheer.
Welcome, dawn. Welcome, New Year.
